The following is a letter I sent out to our active clients March 17th, 2020. As our vacation clients have not been able to travel all of our Vacation Cat Care Visits have been canceled. We were still in operation but doing Mid-Day Dog Walks only. We know it’s going to take all of us working together to do our part to halt the spread of coronavirus. When things return to normal we can’t wait to see all of your pets again!
Dear Homeward Bound Family,
As we continue to monitor the spread of COVID-19 around the globe, it is becoming increasingly obvious that social distancing is the only way to try to prevent further spread of this illness. With that said, Homeward Bound will be suspending all mid-day dog walks until the end of March, effective today, March 17th, 2020.
This was not an easy decision but it is the right decision. Believe me, now more than ever we need cuddles from our favorite pup friends. The unconditional love they give us always makes everything seem better! We have always prided ourselves on not canceling visits. However, if we continue to come into your homes, I would not feel like we are doing enough to protect you, your pets, our employees, and our community.
If your dog is on our schedule for this week, please let me know you have received this message. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this causes in your schedules.
What we are offering
As a thank you for your understanding and because we understand it’s going to take everyone awhile to get back on their feet, we are offering discounted package walks. Until the end of March you may purchase a 5 pack of Mid-Day Weekday Dog Walks for $120 and a 5 pack of Vacation Cat Care Visits for $140 . There is no limit on how many you can buy. Any unused visits will expire at the end of the year. Clients can purchase packages through the online scheduler. Simply, use the “Request New” button as if you were requesting a visit. Choose either package and click submit. We’ll take care of the rest.
