Melissa Anstey has been a resident of the Lakes Region for most of her life. She has worked in a variety of environments but has always loved and enjoyed advocating for animals. Working at the NH Humane Society was where Melissa’s love, devotion, and dedication for animals grew. Over the years she has rescued several kitties. While animals and nature are a huge part of her life, she thoroughly enjoys spending time with her daughter and family; as well as taking care of any wildlife around her home. In addition, she enjoys hiking, playing and watching sports, and spending time outside exploring nature with her Peekapoo. According to Melissa, “Next to spending time with my family, nothing brings me more happiness or satisfaction then loving a furry friend.”
